Pharmaceutical Sales Rep (Entry or Experienced)

The ELOCTATE Senior Product Manager will be a seasoned, team-oriented marketer with strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience marketing to healthcare professionals (HCPs). This HCP-focused position is responsible for leading tactical execution of key components of the US ELOCTATE strategic marketing plan. Essential functions of the job may include: • Develop and execute against promotional strategy and tactical plans targeting US based Hematologists and other HCPs involved with the treatment of Hemophilia • Consider implications of changing competitive landscape and impact on brand strategy and tactics • Utilize customer and marketplace insights to identify, develop, and execute business initiatives that advance the brand • Lead the development and implementation of numerous promotional programs according to strategy and within agreed-upon budgets • Participate in the strategic brand planning process • Serve as a liaison with internal strategic partners and external agencies and vendors • Gain approval for marketing materials through formal internal review process and secure final production • Responsible for effectively managing timelines between marketing agencies and internal support areas to ensure timely completion of tactics • Effectively managing the brand operational budget • Must exhibit leadership skills and ability to perform in fast paced environments • Self-starter who functions well independently or within a team • Strong oral and written communication skills required

The qualified candidate must have demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external business partners. The candidate will exhibit creativity and strategic thinking. Additionally, the candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills as well as an analytical approach to business problem solving. Experience Required: • Seasoned marketing professional, with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech product marketing/commercial experience. Orphan drug experience (especially in hemophilia) a plus. • Experience in development and execution of professional marketing strategies • Ability to manage external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis • Ability to manage promotional budgets • Understanding of the process for obtaining medical/regulatory/legal approval for promotional materials • Sales and sales management experience a plus • Ability to work under pressure • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with/manage cross-functional teams. • Detail oriented, strong quantitative and analytical ability • Ability to understand and communicate highly scientific and technical medical information • Ability to travel up to 25%. Education: Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
