Teva Select Brands (TSB), a division of Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, is currently seeking a Sales Specialist for the following sales territory

Under close supervision, plan and organize sales calls in the territory for effective use of time and economic considerations. Call on new and established customers to obtain and maintain business. Generate leads and relationships to increase business and market share of the specialty products. Obtain current information from the marketplace regarding competitors� pricing, products, new therapies, merchandising techniques, and communicate issues and developments to the manager Manage each targeted account in a �quarterback� role. Key activities include organizing actions plans and directing a multifunction team including such functions as Distribution, Field based education, Government, Account Management, Teva Health Systems and related shared services Work effectively within Compliance and Legal guidelines with Medical Affairs personnel Utilize sales data, sales promotion literature, advertising reprints, samples, displays and product knowledge to plan sales calls. Have a base knowledge of the products and applicable anatomy and physiology. Uses this knowledge in the implementation of company sales programs and marketing objectives. Maintain proper customer call records, submit regular reports to management. Keep management aware of activities in the territory. Attends all company functions as directed (district, regional and national sales meetings, medical conventions,training programs, etc) Maintain required company property in standard working condition. Perform duties in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications 3+ years of documented, successful pharmaceutical and/or medical sales experience. 2+ years of successful pharmaceutical institutional (including formulary responsibility) or account based selling experience is preferred. Emergency Medicine, Mental Health or Endocrine experience preferred Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, supervisory and executive management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to learn technical and medical information. Working knowledge of Managed Care is preferred. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Must have excellent presentation skills. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must be a licensed driver Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Ability to travel up to 20% overnight (average 5 nights per month)
