NAPSRx® Industry Feedback

Our association consistently gets feedback from our members, pharmaceutical companies and industry insiders. Many individuals have questions about the NAPSRx® so we have included some recent comments made by the pharmaceutical community. The association’s mission is to provide member services and pharmaceutical sales training. For aspiring pharmaceutical sales candidates it is preferred by most companies that you have an understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical conditions and pharmaceutical treatments. If someone tells you that this knowledge or training is not important or preferred, they are 100% wrong. Any accredited industry education or training will always be an extremely favorable skill set.

Entry level candidates with some work experience involving customer service or sales can be at an advantage. It is sometimes useful to gain experience by shadowing an existing pharmaceutical sales professional. CNPR® accredited training will provide the necessary education on the product knowledge, pharmacology terms, industry info, AMA (PhRMA) selling guidelines, managed care and selling techniques pharmaceutical employers prefer.
